5G Open Future: 5G x AI Trend Forum

5G applications bring innovation opportunities to all walks of life. In the new era of AI for all things, the Digital Industry Agency of the Ministry of Digital Development in Taiwan is holding the 5G Open Future International Forum, with domestic and foreign experts to focus on international trends, innovative applications and inclusive thinking of 5G private networks. With the support of AI, the 5G private network will initiate new digital changes and technology application upgrades, allowing enterprises to enhance their digital competitiveness.
DeepSig Director of AI/ML Product Management, Peter Carson, will give a keynote speech on AI Innovations for Private 5G Radio Networks.
The presentation will explore the transformative potential of AI for non-public 5G radio networks. First, he will explore how AI-powered radio frequency (RF) sensing can revolutionize spectrum sharing and increase the reliability and uptime of 5G-connected industrial automation systems. He’ll also discuss how deep learning is reshaping the design of the 5G physical layer to improve wireless link performance and resilience in challenging indoor propagation environments. The presentation will share practical insights from early AI-native 5G deployments and innovations that enable highly modular, scalable system architectures. Finally, we will offer a vision for AI/ML in the 3GPP- and Open RAN-driven evolution towards 6G.
