Senior Applications Engineer

Type: Full-Time (W2) On-Site, Arlington, VA

DeepSig Inc. is a venture backed, technology company pioneering the use of AI in 5G and other wireless systems by replacing traditional signal processing with machine learning.  DeepSig software products are achieving significant performance increases while reducing power consumption bringing significant value to our customers.

We are seeking a full time Senior Applications Engineer, who will be an integral part of our growing team, contributing expertise in Signal Processing, Software Radio, and Machine Learning to design and develop groundbreaking wireless communication technologies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a flexible and dynamic environment, work with our ML team to integrate intelligence and adaptability into our SDR products.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Design, develop, and optimize software-based solutions for wireless communication signal processing applications.
• Leverage your software radio, digital signal processing, and wireless signals analysis skills to build, test, and field novel RF capabilities.
• Understand evolving customer problems, identify opportunities to integrate our software solutions, and ensure they meet requirements.
• Support customers by developing enhancements for our commercial sensing product OmniSIG, and our novel physical layer waveform OmniPHY.
• Continuously explore and incorporate new technologies and methodologies to improve product performance and competitiveness.

What we need to see:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• An interest in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and leveraging AI for RF applications.
• 5+ years of professional experience with signal processing and RF systems, especially those employing Software Radio and/or Machine Learning.
• Proficiency with modern software development practices, collaborative software development, and a track record of developing robust and efficient software solutions.
• Proven ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, and dynamic startup environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organization and communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, partners, and customers.
