Supports DeepSig’s New Data-Driven Generative-AI Technologies for 5G Open RAN

Administered by NTIA and underwritten by the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, the Wireless Innovation Fund has allocated $1.5 billion to support innovation in the wireless supply chain. The first round of grant awards, announced this week, is an important step in creating opportunities for U.S. companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. This enables U.S. companies to compete in a market traditionally dominated by larger foreign suppliers. By fostering wireless innovation and encouraging competition, the Wireless Innovation Fund will play a pivotal role in driving competition, enhancing supply chain resilience, and supporting companies offering trusted, innovative solutions.
